| Eliane Elias, Brazil |
If you had reason to believe I wouldn't put the Brazilian touch on the jazz that I love you were wrong. Eliane Elias is just plain superb. The accolades about her playing run the gamut. I first heard Bossa Nova in 1962 and it captivated me. I learned how to play it on my drums and never forgot the freedom and expression I was able to capture. A good part of my music is from south of the border.

You heard her singing and playing and after listening to the entire selection complete with solos by the musicians your whole body should have come alive as you listened to the interpretation of the song. If you did not have a positive reaction you need help.
